FruitSalad Art Images
Now Available as Posters!
In our news section you may have recently read about a new FruitSalad project taking shape. It is no longer 'hush, hush' FruitSalad has had an amazing, innovative new idea to really put Bristol City on the world wide map by producing a set of stunning posters of all our beautiful landmarks, locations and most famous personalities.
The posters are images taken from the FruitSalad Photographic collection that typify the elements we are most proud of and well known for here in Bristol.
For example, Brunel's achievements of engineering excellence, the SS Great Britain and Clifton Suspension Bridge. The posters celebrate the life of John Cabot depicting the city's homage to this great Mariner. The other great personality covered and commerated is Bristol's famous son, Hollywood actor Cary Grant.
Along with these choices other iconic Bristol locations include, the Museum of Bristol's Cranes, the Llandoger Trow, Queens Square, Millennium Square, the Nails of Corn Street and the Wills Building.
Each poster is headed with the word 'Bristol' in a specifically designed typeface aptly named 'Bristol Bell.' We commisioned our friends at UCHI to design a new font we felt most describes Bristol's historical, industrial and artistic nature.
The posters will be available in standard poster A2 size or as photographic prints in A3 or A4. Prices are to be confirmed.
